The CHARLOTTE REGIONAL FILM OFFICE would like to announce that an untitled WILL FERRELL RACING COMEDY feature film will be shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina in the fall. It is brought to us by the team behind ANCHORMAN, producers Judd Apatow, Jimmy Miller and David Householter and director Adam McKay. An open Call for EXTRAS will be held at E. E. WADDELL HIGH SCHOOL on Saturday, JULY 30th between the hours of 10am and 5pm. (Please do not call the school for directions.) The film is looking for thousands of people of all ages and races to portray racing fans, country music fans, line dancers, etc. Please stop by any time between the hours of 10am and 5 pm and bring a non returnable recent photo of yourself. The High School Theatre Arts Group will be on hand to take Polaroid photos for a small donation to their organization, in case you forget to bring one. The casting department will be there to answer any questions you may have. This will be a great opportunity for you to be in a movie and see how it all comes together. The casting directors Allison Jones and Shirley Crumley are looking for 2 little boys, ages 6 and 10 years old to portray Will Ferrell’s Children in the film. These children should come to the school on Sunday, July 31, between the hours of 2pm and 6 pm. Some of these boys will be asked to read for the director, so please be prepared to wait a while. These roles are very important to the movie. Directions: From I-77 North: Take Exit 4 From the Ramp, turn left. At the second light, turn left into the schools driveway.
