Dear Actors, Agents & Friends, I am thrilled to be doing my first Audition Intensive for actors. For years countless people have approached me to teach a class or speak at their class. Although always interested, I have longed to offer an exclusive workshop focused on the everyday audition process in today's market and the challenges surrounding this. Thanks, Kim Audition Intensive - Saturday, August 23 Kim is one of the most respected casting directors with 20+ years experience casting for film, television and commercials. Credits include “The Help” [Academy Award Nominee, Artios® award winner], “Nashville” – pilot/original cast, Boulevard [premiered at TriBeca 2014] and hundreds of national and regional commercials. Kim attended the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts and then worked in New York’s Film & TV industry. Kim was drawn back to the south by the rapidly expanding film and television production and her love for the art of filmmaking. Her casting experience covers - Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and New York. The workshop is for actors 18 yr+ who audition frequently for film, television and commercials. We focus on sharpening your skills to better navigate our ever-changing industry in the southeast, while refining your talents during the everyday audition process. This is a rare opportunity to work with Kim in a fun, creative, career-enhancing workshop. “Audition Intensive” workshop will include: Workshop participants will perform scenes specifically chosen for them, followed by constructive feedback. Kim will work with you preparing for those daunting one-line film roles that are so prevalent in the Nashville and Atlanta casting markets. Giving you the advantage to excel at your audition and be the stand out amongst the dozens of other submissions. We will cover the challenges of self-taping for creating professional quality links and provide industry proven tips to mastering a callback session.
