CBS Broadcasting Inc. is casting The Amazing Race 11. Shoot starts in October in a remote location. Seeking—Team Contestants: 21+, must be U.S. citizens and live in the U.S., be in excellent physical and mental health, authorize producers to conduct a background check, willing to commit to traveling and living in a remote location for approximately seven weeks, and have a valid U.S. passport or be in the process of obtaining a passport. Open call auditions (no appt. necessary) will be held by local CBS stations, including KFSM auditions May 20th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Central Mall, 5111 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, AK; WROC/WUHF auditions May 21, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lilac Festival, Rochester, NY; WRGB auditions May 24, 5-8 p.m. at Taft Furniture, 1960 Central Ave., Albany, NY; and WFOR auditions May 27th, 1-4 p.m. at GameWorks, 5701 Sunset Dr. (at the shops at Sunset Place), South Miami, FL. At the auditions, participants will fill out an application and be put on camera; you do not need to bring your own tape and you will not need a copy of your passport. Your local CBS station will send the tape directly to the Amazing Race casting department, where it will be watched by the casting team and treated the same as if it were submitted from a regular individual entrant.
